Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 2 (8-ounce) bottles clam juice
- 2 pounds small red potatoes (about 10 potatoes)
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 2 pounds smoked turkey sausage, cut into 20 pieces
- 5 ears corn (about 3 pounds) each cut crosswise into 4 pieces
- 2 pounds unpeeled medium shrimp
Preparation
- Combine first 9 ingredients in a 10-quart stock pot; bring to a boil. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes or until potatoes are just tender. Add sausage; cook 5 minutes. Add corn and shrimp; cover and cook 4 minutes or until shrimp are done. Drain. Discard bay leaves, and serve immediately.
