Yield 10 servings (serving size: 1 potato, 2 pieces sausage, 2 pieces corn, and 2 1/2 ounces unpeeled shrimp)

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 2 (8-ounce) bottles clam juice
  • 2 pounds small red potatoes (about 10 potatoes)
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 2 pounds smoked turkey sausage, cut into 20 pieces
  • 5 ears corn (about 3 pounds) each cut crosswise into 4 pieces
  • 2 pounds unpeeled medium shrimp

How to Make It

  1. Combine first 9 ingredients in a 10-quart stock pot; bring to a boil. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes or until potatoes are just tender. Add sausage; cook 5 minutes. Add corn and shrimp; cover and cook 4 minutes or until shrimp are done. Drain. Discard bay leaves, and serve immediately.
