  • 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup frozen green peas
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions (about 2 onions)
  • 1 1/4 cups cooked long-grain rice
  • 1/2 cup diced low-sodium ham
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon water


  1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add peas and onions; sauté 3 minutes or until tender. Add rice and ham; cook until thoroughly heated. Push rice mixture to the sides of the pan, forming a well in the center.
  2. . Add egg to well, and cook until set, stirring occasionally. Stir rice mixture into egg mixture. Stir in soy sauce and water.
