Fried Pork Chops

Ingredients

6 (3/8-inch-thick) pork loin chops (about 1 pound)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup vegetable oil

Preparation

Trim exterior fat from chops, and place chops in a paper or plastic bag with flour, salt, and pepper; shake to mix.

Heat oil in 10-inch skillet over high heat. Cook chops 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides. Drain on paper towels, and serve immediately.
