Fried Corn

After cutting the kernels from fresh corn, scrape the knife blade down each cob to get all the milky liquid.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter
4 cups fresh corn kernels
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Melt butter in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add fresh corn kernels, and sauté 8 to 10 minutes or until mixture is thickened. Stir in sugar and salt and freshly ground pepper.
