fresh Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) celery chopped
  • 1 ssmall onion chopped
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1/2 green pepper chopped
  • 1/4 cup(s) butter
  • 4 1/2 cup(s) vegetable broth
  • 1 quart(s) tomatoes peeled and choped
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 4 teaspoon(s) sugar
  • 1/4 cup(s) flour

Preparation

Saute vegetables in butter. Add broth, tomatoes, sspices. Heat and Simmer for 20 min. blend flour with water and add. Cook until thickened.
