Fresh Tomato Sauce

Yield about 2 cups


  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 cups peeled, seeded, chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cooked ham
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper

How to Make It

  1. Sauté garlic in butter until tender. Stir in tomatoes and parsley. Simmer 40 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Stir in ham, salt, and pepper.
