Fresh Salsa
This recipe goes with Broiled Chicken Sandwich with Fresh Salsa
Yield: Makes 1 1/4 cups
Ingredients
- 1 large tomato, peeled, seeded, and chopped
- 2 1/2 tablespoons diced purple onion
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
- Stir together all ingredients; chill 2 hours.
