Fresh Sage, Sausage & Apple Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 pound(s) sausage
  • 8 slice(s) whole wheat bread dried and broken into pieces
  • 1 cup(s) chopped celery
  • 1 cup(s) chopped onion
  • 2-3 tablespoon(s) minced fresh sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
  • 2 Golden Delish Apples peeled, cored and cubed
  • 1/2 cup(s) toasted walnuts coarsely chopped
  • 2 lage eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup(s) chicken broth or half and half melted

Preparation

cook sausage

mix all other ingredients except for the chicken broth and butter

pour those over other mixed ingredients

stuff turkey
