Fresh Lemonade

Yield about 1 gallon


  • 1 quart freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2 dozen lemons)
  • 3 quarts water
  • 3 cups sugar
  • Lemon twists

How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients, except lemon twists, in a large container, stirring well. Chill.

  2. Pour lemonade over ice in glasses, and garnish with lemon twists.

  3. Variation: Three cups rum or vodka may be added to Fresh Lemonade, if desired.
