Fresh Fig Tart

    Worthy of a Special Occasion

    Figs just came in at the grocery store so I decided to give this a try. The crust was super easy to make in a food processor. I would probably use the crust recipe again for other fruit tarts because of that. I chilled it while i was cutting up the figs. Overall the filling and glaze was simple, good. The honey went well with the figs, just spread in on quickly before it hardens. The only thing i didn't get was the raw figs on top. They just didn't seem to go or be necessary. Next time i will skip that part.
