- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 cups fresh corn kernels (about 6 ears fresh corn)
- 2 tablespoons whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
- Vegetable oil
How to Make It
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl; mix well. Combine egg, corn, whipping cream, and butter; mix well, and stir into dry ingredients.
Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls into hot oil (375°); cook until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels; serve hot.
