French Toast Croutons
The challah bread French Toast Croutons are so good you'll be tempted to eat them on their own.
This recipe goes with Mixed Greens with French Toast Croutons
Yield: Makes 8 servings
- 4 (1-inch) challah bread slices
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- Preheat oven to 375°. Cut challah bread slices into 1/2-inch cubes. Stir together sugar and ground cinnamon in a large bowl. Add bread cubes and melted butter; toss to coat. Bake in a single layer on a baking sheet 10 minutes or until crisp. Cool completely.
