French Toast Croutons

The challah bread French Toast Croutons are so good you'll be tempted to eat them on their own.

4 (1-inch) challah bread slices
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, melted


Preheat oven to 375°. Cut challah bread slices into 1/2-inch cubes. Stir together sugar and ground cinnamon in a large bowl. Add bread cubes and melted butter; toss to coat. Bake in a single layer on a baking sheet 10 minutes or until crisp. Cool completely.
