French Toast Casserole

Using leftover French bread

  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) maple syrup
  • 1 loaf(s) French bread 2" slices
  • 4 Eggs Beaten
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) Skim milk
  • 2 teaspoon(s) Vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Cinnamon

Preparation

1. Spray casserole with Pam. Pour syrup into the dish. Place 2" bread slices over the syrup.

2. Separately, combine eggs, milk, vanilla and 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Pour over bread, pressing bread down gently to soak up batter. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

3. Preheat to 350F. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon. Bake 45 minutes until golden brown.

Serve with fruit.
