These are crazy good. Made them with King's Hawaiin bread rolls cut in half and they were a huge hit!

I made this for a Sunday brunch, and instead of cinnamon I put lemon zest in the batter, and served it with blueberries & maple syrup. Tasty!

So cute! Such as an easy switch from regular french toast. Not only kid approved, but college student approved as well. Check out my blog: www.gottatryit.webs.com

I made this for my little girl. I used organic orange, cranberry, and walnut bread. I also used vanilla & orange extract (1-tsp of each). I served with orange & strawberry slices, sausage, and cheese eggs. To say the least, everything was DELICIOUS.

My picky 6-year old son said, "Thanks for making this Mom. Can you make it every day?" My 8-year old had a similar reaction. I've made it for them twice now. I used sourdough bread (that's what we had in the house) so the slices weren't as thick as recommended. I think they liked the novelty of the smaller pieces, but if it didn't taste good, that would not have been enough to keep their interest. It was very easy to make and it disappeared quickly. We will certainly make this recipe again.
