Good recipe - but I found it to be a typical french toast recipe - nothing special.

Absolutely delicious. I made this recipe to surprise my husband one morning. Using the egg whites instead of just whole eggs helped make it light and fluffy. I used the left over dipping batter to make cinnamon scrambled eggs to accompany the toast, which he said were is favorite.

We love this b/c it's ready all at once and is nice and crispy! I've made it multiple times... great for a crowd. I follow the recipe exactly - I've used homemade rustic bread as well as wheat and oat breads - it all turns out great!

This is the best french toast recipe. It is so easy to make and so delicious. I just made it for my husband and I for Valentine's Day breakfast. He loved it too. I used challah bread. I liked how it was all ready at the same time. Mine took a little longer to cook in the oven, about 8-10 minutes on each side. I put some mascarpone cheese on the french toast before squeezing orange juice and drizzling with maple syrup ...yum! Will definitely make this again.
