6 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard


Combine cabbage, green pepper, and carrot in a large bowl. Combine vinegar and remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute. Pour vinegar mixture over cabbage mixture; toss well. Cover and chill.


To Freeze: Spoon slaw evenly into 4 labeled heavy-duty, zip-top plastic bags. Freeze up to one month.
