excellent. added some cinnamon and pecans. great breakfast bar. Make sure you cook the figs down until they're pretty thick or the bars end up mushy. Better stored in the fridge.

One word - SCRUMPTIOUS! The recipe is a bit time consuming but well worth the effort. The cookie is light and delicate and the filling is well-balanced.

The first time I made this recipe, I took it out of the oven after 20 minutes. It needed the full 25. The second time I made it, I added a half cup of chopped pecans on top and baked it for the full 25 minutes. Sorry, but it was too good to share with anyone. Yum!
