Fettuccine with Blue Cheese Sauce

    This recipe sounded so good that I couldn't believe how tasteless it was. In all fairness I omitted the ham. I do think that the salty meat would have helped. Also the sauce needed to be loosened up with chicken broth maybe? I'd say there's a 50/50 shot of me trying this again.

    We made this without the ham because I'm a vegetarian--my husband and children added shredded turkey on top of their servings. We all liked this--very rich. My kids always like mac and cheese, so this was a good way to open their palates to the tang of blue cheese. They ate the spinach too:) Would make again.

    This was very good. The sauce did dry out fast. But the next day instead of remaking the sauce, I went and brought a bottle of Alfredo Sauce and it was still equally good the next day!!!
