Faux Clotted Cream

This simple version of Devonshire (clotted) cream echoes the taste of the English specialty, but it's quick and easy.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 (8-oz.) container mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. 1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Store in refrigerator.
