Faux Clotted Cream
This simple version of Devonshire (clotted) cream echoes the taste of the English specialty, but it's quick and easy.

- 1/2 (8-oz.) container mascarpone cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Store in refrigerator.
