This simple version of Devonshire (clotted) cream echoes the taste of the English specialty, but it's quick and easy.

1/2 (8-oz.) container mascarpone cheese, softened
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Store in refrigerator.
