  • Cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon finely ground espresso
  • 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning (such as McCormick Grill Mates seasoning blends)
  • 4 (4-ounce) beef tenderloin steaks, trimmed (1 inch thick)

How to Make It

  1. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Combine espresso, brown sugar, and seasoning in a small bowl; rub mixture evenly over both sides of steaks. Add steaks to pan; cook 4 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
