English Muffins Toasted With Cheese Butter

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 English muffins, halved

How to Make It

  1. Cream butter in a small mixing bowl; add remaining ingredients, except muffins, beating well. Spread butter mixture evenly over cut sides of muffins. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heating element until bubbly and lightly browned. Cut each muffin half into fourths.
