This appetizer always gets rave reviews from our friends. It is easy and delicious. We substitute Splenda for the sugar to save a few more calories and cannot taste any difference.

Wow, so good! And elegant. I used turbinado sugar and had toasted pine nuts since they were on hand. They were great. Black pepper makes a nice addition. Yum!
