Can be made with puff pastry or crescent roll dough, in either case, stretched or rolled thin. Can also be made much smaller, to be just a couple of bites each.

I experimented with this recipe and with the recipe CL recommended it to complement on different days... I think I would have preferred them served together. I might try as an appetizer, chopping spinach first and assembling more Spanikopita style. I also lightened it up with 99% fat free turkey, which I wouldn't recommend :(

These purses were a fun appetizer, although time and labor intensive to make. The broth in the clay pot chicken had a lot of flavor. I baked mine in the Deep Covered Baker (it isn't just for the microwave.) I would up the temp to 450 if you are using the DCB.
