Egg Salad BLTs

The egg salad itself was nothing special, although we did like the hint of lemon. (We did not find it too lemony like othe reviewers.) The idea of combining an egg salad sandwich with a blt is great -- yum! I served the sandwiches with roasted sweet potato wedges and pickles.

I expected to like this more, but I have to say it was pretty bland. The only new idea I will take from it is: egg salad+bacon= yum! I can't believe I never put the two together before. I liked the green onions, but otherwise the egg salad just didn't seem to have any flavor that stood out.

I am so sad to give this recipe 1 star. I really wanted to like this egg salad but the lemon flavor was really not good in my opinion.

What a delicious and satisfying sandwich. My husband hates mustard, so we substituted horseradish and it turned out great. I also added a little worcestershire that added a nice touch. Yum.

Great egg salad - simply and tasty. I've made it many times. I make it without the green onions and lemon and it comes out great.

YUMMY YUMMY. Best egg salad i've ever eaten, and adding it to BLT is just genius. Can't wait for my leftovers today at lunch. My husband is not a big fan egg salad, but he loved it too. We will definitely make again.

This was pretty ordinary. If it weren't for the bacon, I think it would have been quite dull. Since I still have enough left over for two more servings, I think I will try the recommendation from a previous reviewer and add some curry powder.

Three words: yellow curry powder. THAT'S the kick that the egg salad is missing. Added to the recipe it's great, even with the lemon! Loved all around!

Last time I made egg salad, it was so bland that I decided I no longer liked egg salad. Then I came across this recipe. Oh my gosh, it is great! I made tea sandwiches instead of regular sandwiches. I took a big batch of them to a potluck and they were gone in a flash. This is my new Go To recipe for egg salad.

My family looks forward to Easter so they can get this sandwich. Absolute decadence.

I really enjoyed this sandwich, but did make a few changes. I used light mayo, fat free Greek yogurt, multigrain bread and turkey bacon. I served it with the recommended feta slaw and sweet midget pickles. I would make this again but just the sandwich and maybe the pickles, it was way too much food with the slaw...very good, but very filling!

My family and I were very impressed. Fast and easy - A nice change for dinner time. Will make again.
