Egg Custard Pie

Yield one 9-inch pie


  • 3 eggs, slighty beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

How to Make It

  1. Combine eggs, sugar, butter, and vanilla; beat until blended. Stir in milk, and pour into pastry shell.

  2. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted 1 inch from edge of pie comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.
