Well I don't care for the soybeans. I like 'em in general but not in this dish. I prefer with butterbeans. Think I'll stick with my recipe I have which has more flavor. I added jalapeno relish to give it flavor.

A very nice dish to showcase the flavors of summer! I did some chopping in advance to save some time. Next time I will probably add another ear of corn and do only half of the onion. I might add some more tomato, too. Easy and tasty - we'll have this again!

I've made it twice so far, once with shelled edamame and once with lima beans - both were great!

This was my family's introduction to edamame and I'm pleased to say that it was a success. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh flavors and textures of this succotash. It was also much more filling than I thought it would be.

This is surprisingly really good. I made it without the bacon for a vegetarian dish. I like the flavor from the vinegar and sugar. I will make this again for a healthy, easy, meal.

My husband took one bite of this and said "Wow, this doesn't taste anything like I thought it would!" In a good way of course. I agree, this tastes better than you'd think, but with a base of bacon fat and butter it's not TOO surprising. The only changes I made were, fresh corn instead of frozen (and I milked the cobs), and chives instead of basil. Next time I'll also try some heat with a fresh jalapeno.

I love anything with edamame and this one does not disappoint! I subbed turkey bacon in for the center cut. This was very good and filling-- even better the next day!

I was disappointed in this dish. It's beautiful to look at, but not as tasty as I would have hoped. I followed the recipe as written, but would not make it again. It is healthy, but one serving was more than enough.

Made this substituting seasonal fava beans for edamame and omitting the bacon to cut down on the fat. Super delicious and quick!

Loved this! And my 10yr old had a lot of fun making it with me. We served it with the Maple-Glazed salmon (http://bit.ly/hDW9pr) and mashed potatoes! Delish.

Followed recipe exactly except used dried basil because I didn't have any fresh. It was delicious even without the fresh basil. Husband loved it. Used some of the leftovers in a wrap grilled with mozzarella and again...delicious. Can't wait to make again

Beautiful and so tasty, even though I substituted frozen corn, canned diced tomatoes, and dried basil.

A great summer salad. My husband and I both love it. I occassionally add chicken. Very colorful.

I made this without the bacon substituting olive oil. I also used cilantro in place of basil as it matched our main dish better. My 4 year old said 'I LOVE IT!' when I had him taste it before dinner. Need I say more? Very easy to make also.
