Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons PROMISE BUTTERY SPREAD
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 3 bananas, each cut into 8 pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Vanilla low-fat frozen yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Preparation

  1. Cook juices in a medium-size nonstick skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 14 to 16 minutes or until mixture is reduced to 3/4 cup. Remove from skillet.
  2. Melt buttery spread in skillet over medium-high heat; add brown sugar, and cook, stirring often, 2 minutes. Add bananas; cook, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla and cinnamon. Add juice mixture, and cook, stirring occasionally, 1 minute. Serve over frozen yogurt, and top with chopped nuts.
