Combine breadcrumbs, pepper, and salt in a large zip-top plastic freezer bag. Rinse chicken tenders, and add to freezer bag. Seal bag, and shake to coat.
Melt butter with oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 3 1/2 to 4 minutes on each side or until done. Arrange Canadian bacon strips over chicken in skillet, and top each with 1 cheese slice. Broil 5 1/2 inches from heat 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.

This was quick and really good. 5 stars from the whole family, including the kids. I also used chicken breasts rather than tender, which added a few minutes to prep time. We ate it with fresh home made bread and a salad. I will definitely make this again.
This was a great meal! I had frozen chicken breasts so I thawed those and used them cut into strips instead. I would say the prep time is more like 15 minutes by doing that. My husband rated it an 8.5, we will do this again!
I thought this great! I used chicken breast instead of chicken tenders as well. Pounded it out and cut it up into chunks. I also used Virginia Baked Ham instead of the Canadian Bacon. This was super quick and very tasty. I loved how juicy the chicken was. When I have made Chicken Cordon Bleu in the past, a rolled the cheese and ham up in the chicken, the chicken seemed to dry out...granted that may just be my fault...but I didn't have that issue with this recipe at all. =D
this is a really fast & easy recipe, the chicken was delicious but the swiss cheese ruined it for me. It overpowered the chicken. I am definitely gonna make this again but maybe use provolone next time.
