Easy Roasted Oysters

Yield 2 servings

  • A sheet of tin cut 1 inch smaller than the size of the grill
  • About 5 dozen oysters
  • A double thickness of burlap (large enough to cover oysters)
  • A spray bottle (to mist burlap)
  • Kane Island Cocktail Sauce
  • Melted butter
  • Hot sauce
  • Saltine crackers

How to Make It

  1. Place tin on grill over a hot fire. Arrange oysters in the shell on the sheet of tin, cover with burlap, mist burlap with water, and cook 7 to 9 minutes.

  2. Uncover oysters, and remove from grill with long-handled tongs. Open and serve with Kane Island Cocktail Sauce, melted butter, hot sauce, and saltine crackers.
