My husband has made Brunswick Stwe with our local Legion Post and this is in no way a classic stew. I believe it is a good solid receipe and will taste good but you can't call it a Brumswick Stew thats why I give it one star..

Liked the basic recipe. I added a little ketchup as well. Next time I might use a smokier flavored BBQ sauce.

I have been making this recipe for years and everyone raves about it, even people who don't eat okra! To save time and money buy pulled pork with added sauce in the refrigerated section at your local grocers.

I have made this twice. I did add a little apple cider vinegar to give it some tang. I think this is a great Brunswick Stew and will probably make it often during the winter months. With all the veggies and meat, all you need to round out this great meal is some cornbread!

I made this for a cold winter night and it was fantastic! I used rotisserie chicken and Jack Daniels pulled pork and it gave it an awesome kick! Could probably cut barbecue sauce in half because of the pork. To tame it a bit, we added macaroni pasta-think chili mac. Easily make this again.
