Easy Baked Applesauce

Delicious! I make this every year for Thanksgiving. It goes great with turkey. I use gala apples, love that it comes out chunky. Makes the house smell wonderful while cooking too!

Absolutely delicious! I used Gala apples, which worked well, though I pureed the sauce just a little bit in a food processor, as the apples didn't break down all the way. I think I will reduce the amount of sugar a bit next time, since it was a little on the sweet side. This applesauce is wonderful for dessert, served warm with vanilla ice cream. Very satisfying! I will definitely be making this again.

This is a fantastic, easy recipe. It is great hot or cold, and is a great use for organic apples. Such a huge difference from store bought!

Terrific! I made this for my one year old...but I absolutely loved it too!
