Dye Easter eggs the natural way

Use items in your home to make colorful Easter eggs. You don't have to leave home when you're ready to dye eggs this year. Just open the pantry and pull out all the ingredients you'll need to create your favorite colors.


  • Pale red Fresh beets or cranberry juice (don't add water)
  • Yellow Ground turmeric
  • Orange Yellow onion skins
  • Green Spinach leaves
  • Blue Canned blueberries
  • Brown Coffee granules

How to Make It

  1. Put eggs in a pot and add water to cover. Add 1 tsp. vinegar, followed by one of the natural dye ingredients. Bring water to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
