Ingredients

  • 8 (.25-ounce) cans dried parsley flakes
  • 5 (.37-ounce) jars dried marjoram leaves
  • 3 (.75-ounce) jars dried whole thyme
  • 3 (.75-ounce) jars dried savory
  • 2 (.49-ounce) jars dried basil leaves
  • 1 (1.3-ounce) jar dried lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 6 bay leaves, crushed

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl; stir well. Spoon one-fourth of mixture into container of an electric blender; process until coarsely ground. Repeat procedure with remaining herb mixture, processing one-fourth of mixture at a time. Store in airtight jars. Use as a seasoning in gravies, soups, or stews.
