Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup pitted prunes
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup dried apple slices
  • 5 dried figs
  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Preparation

  1. Place first 4 ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Peel orange with a vegetable peeler, reserving sections for another use. Cut rind into very thin strips; stir rind and next 5 ingredients into prune mixture.
  3. Combine brandy and next 3 ingredients in a saucepan; cook over medium heat 3 minutes or until warm. Pour over fruit mixture, stirring gently. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator up to 1 month.
