Dollie's Pecan Pie
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1. Cook sugar & syrup until thick and clear (2-3 minutes).
- 2. In a medium mixing bowl, slowly stir sugar mixture INTO eggs in a thin stream until mixed.
- 3. Add pecan halves, butter, salt and vanilla,
- 4. Pour into pie shell.
- 5. Bake 40-50 minutes in 375 degree oven.
