- 1 (16-ounce) package plus 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to Make It
Combine sugar and shortening in a medium mixing bowl; beat at low speed of an electric mixer until smooth. Add water slowly; beat 10 minutes. Add salt and vanilla; mix well.
Decorator Icing will keep in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
