Decorator Frosting

Yield frosting for 2 1/2 dozen cookies


  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 (16-ounce) package powdered sugar, sifted

How to Make It

  1. Combine cream of tartar and egg whites. Beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until foamy. Gradually add sugar; continue beating 5 to 7 minutes or until stiff peaks form.
