- 1 pound Mild Breakfast Sausage (we prefer turkey)
- 2 tablespoons All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup DairyPure Milk
- 1 cup Evaporated Milk
- Salt & Pepper to taste
How to Make It
Render sausage in non stick skillet until browned and crumbling. Remove sausage from skillet but reserve grease/oil from cooking for gravy.
This whole recipe can be whipped up in about 10 minutes, giving you a filling start to your morning without a lot of effort. Since it’s all mixed up in the same pan, there’s little clean-up!
Increase heat to medium/high and gradually pour in milk stirring constantly to avoid clumps. Add in evaporated milk and stir combining well. Cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat.
Reduce to low, taste and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over fresh made biscuits or with toast.
Turn to low/medium heat and mix in flour making sure to scrape the bottom of pan for sausage bits. Flour/Grease mixture will form a smooth paste. For richer flavor allow this to cook for 3-4 minutes and brown.
