Curried Lentil Soup with Yogurt and Cilantro

Delicious--quite spicy. I had a hard time finding the precooked lentils; finally found them in the rice section (with the 1 minute rice packages). Very easy. I used low fat sour cream since that's what I had on hand. Definitely not for the spice-timid.

Delicious and spicy. I used French Green Lentils and cooked them myself since that is what I had on hand. I also added two small russet potatoes peeled and diced to the soup. We ate it without a side salad, but that would have added a great way to balance out the meal. This will be a keeper for me because it comes together quickly and has lots of depth and flavor.

So good. I am not a big lentil fan but I liked this. My husband loves lentils which is why I tried it. Very easy to make,served with a salad fast tasty weeknight dinner
