Cucumbers In Sour Cream

4 medium cucumbers
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
6 radishes, minced
1 (8-ounce) carton commercial sour cream
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon minced onion
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Sliced radishes (optional)


Slice cucumbers into a medium bowl; sprinkle with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and chill 1 hour. Drain on paper towels, pressing to remove liquid. .Return to bowl; stir in remaining ingredients, tossing gently. Chill. Garnish with sliced radishes, if desired.
