Crunchy Apple-Pear Salad

Ingredients
- Salad:
- 2 apples, cored and diced
- 2 pears, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 heads butter lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
- 1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
- Dressing:
- 1 cup oil
- 6 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
- Toss apples and pears with lemon juice; drain. Arrange lettuce on 6 salad plates; top with apples, pears and Gorgonzola cheese. Drizzle salads with Dressing; sprinkle with walnuts. Serve immediately.
