- 1 (8- to 10-oz.) French bread baguette, cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices (35 to 40 pieces)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Preheat oven to 400°. Place bread in a single layer on a baking sheet, and brush with olive oil. Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely on a wire rack (about 2 minutes).
