Crook's Corner Cheese Grits

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup stone-ground grits
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco Sauce

How to Make It

  1. Bring salted water to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat; Reduce heat to low, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cheddar cheese and remaining ingredients.
