  • 1 package dried split peas (16 oz)
  • 1 meaty ham bone or 2 cups diced ham
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 qts hot water


  1. Layer ingredients in CrockPot in the given order and add hot water. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Mash peas to thicken soup more.
