Ingredients
- 1 package dried split peas (16 oz)
- 1 meaty ham bone or 2 cups diced ham
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tbsp seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1 1/2 qts hot water
Preparation
- Layer ingredients in CrockPot in the given order and add hot water. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours. Mash peas to thicken soup more.
