Crème Fraîche
This recipe goes with Hanukkah Doughnuts with Strawberry Preserves
Yield: Makes 8 servings
Ingredients
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon buttermilk
Preparation
- Heat cream and buttermilk in a small saucepan over low heat until lukewarm. Pour mixture into a glass jar, and loosely cover with lid. Let stand, free from drafts, 8 hours or until thickened. Store, tightly covered, in refrigerator up to 10 days.
