How to Make It

Step 1

Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl; mix well. Add milk, egg yolks, and butter; stir until smooth.

Step 2

Beat egg whites (at room temperature) in a small bowl until stiff; gently fold into batter.

Step 3

Spoon batter into a preheated, lightly oiled waffle iron, following manufacturer's directions. Cook 5 minutes or until brown and crisp. Repeat procedure with remaining batter.
