This is missing something. Maybe salt or something? For those who desire a cookie that is not overly sweet, they may like these. Over all, a fairly bland cookie.

I followed the directions exactly and I ended up with a mess. I had a flat layer of "cookie goo" over my entire baking sheet that spilled over into the oven. Not sure how it could be test kitchen guaranteed.

These cookies were a HUGE hit at my annual cookies and cocktails party! I made them and thought they turned out great. Don't crowd the cookies on the cookie sheet and follow the recipe and drop an actual tablespoon of the cookie dough. The cookies spread out and become very thin just like a praline. If your making theses cookies and expect them to taste exactly like a praline you'll be disappointed but they have a great flavor! I will definitely make these again!!! Also DO NOT melt the butter it needs to be softened otherwise the cookies will spread too much...

Made these this weekend.... adding the chocolate. They are really easy to make and delicious!

I love these cookies! I stick exactly to the recipe, and have had great luck! They make a small batch, which I really like. The cookies do flatten out, sort of like real pralines, delicious. Definitely stick to the tablespoon droppings, though. As for the butter, it does work best if it's not melted, just softened.
